Role: Social Media Manager

Company: Fast growing startup at the intersection of technology, media and the creator economy

Reports to: Head of Social / CEO

Compensation: $130K to $175K base, based on experience + benefits

NOORI is supporting a fast growing startup at the intersection of technology, media and the creator economy as they build out their social team. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to help bring the company’s social presence to life day to day. This person will be deeply hands on across content, publishing, community and trends, working closely with the Head of Social to turn the broader brand strategy into a social presence that feels relevant, distinct and consistently active. The right person lives close to internet culture, has strong creative instincts and knows how to move quickly from an idea or moment to something worth posting.

What you’ll own

Manage day to day social execution across key platforms
Bring the company’s brand voice and social strategy to life through daily content
Develop original posts, recurring formats and reactive social ideas
Own publishing, scheduling and platform management
Identify trends, conversations, memes and cultural moments worth acting on
Write sharp social copy that feels native to each platform
Work closely with creative partners to develop visual and video content
Engage with the community and identify opportunities to join relevant conversations
Track performance and use what is working to inform future content
Help build an efficient process for moving quickly from idea to execution
Partner closely with the Head of Social, creative, product and growth teams

What we’re looking for

Proven experience managing social for a technology company, creator led company, media business or internet native brand
A strong understanding of social platforms, internet culture, creators and online communities
Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of brand voice
Strong creative instincts and the ability to identify ideas with real social potential
Experience creating and publishing content across multiple platforms
Comfortable reacting quickly to trends, news and cultural moments
Highly organized and able to manage a consistent content cadence
Comfortable working in a fast moving environment with a high level of ownership
Someone who genuinely spends time online and understands how people communicate there
