Social Media ManagerAmerican factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. Nox Metals is building it, along with the tools that run it. We're a technology company with operations in Metro Detroit and Los Angeles, supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.We're hiring a Social Media Manager to build the daily voice of Nox Metals. You will turn real work (machines running, orders moving, customers building, and teammates solving problems) into a consistent presence that earns attention and trust.This is not a role for reposting corporate announcements. You will spend time in our facilities, spot stories before someone assigns them, create content yourself, and learn from what the audience actually does.You will:Own the social calendar and day-to-day publishing across priority channelsCapture, write, edit, and publish timely photo, video, and text contentBuild recurring formats around factory work, team stories, customer outcomes, and company progressPartner with recruiting, sales, operations, and leadership to uncover useful storiesRespond to comments and messages with good judgment and a consistent voiceTrack audience growth, engagement, traffic, applicants, and commercial signalsTest hooks, formats, cadence, and distribution, then apply what the data showsMaintain a content library and obtain the permissions needed to publish responsiblyMonitor relevant industrial and cultural conversations without chasing every trendSupport launches, events, and occasional real-time coverageYou are:An excellent writer with strong visual instinctsFast, observant, and comfortable making good decisions without layers of approvalA creator who can shoot and edit credible content with lightweight equipmentInterested in factories, skilled work, technology, and American industryAnalytical enough to separate meaningful audience behavior from vanity metricsRespectful of customer confidentiality, employee privacy, and factory safetyConsistent, organized, and able to sustain quality over timeNice to have:Experience growing a brand in manufacturing, technology, defense, logistics, or a technical categoryExperience with short-form video, photography, community management, or employee advocacyComfort interviewing operators, customers, and executivesExperience with analytics, scheduling, and social-listening toolsComfort using AI tools for research, ideation, repurposing, and analysis without flattening the voiceBenefits:Equity in Nox MetalsCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insuranceThis role is full time and in person in either Los Angeles or Detroit.Nox Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
