Qualifications:

• Holds an active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (required)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students in a special education capacity

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative spirit and passion for advocating for student success

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs and learning goals
• Implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Coordinate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and belonging
• Communicate regularly with families, providing updates on student progress and addressing concerns
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP team meetings
