Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and active Minnesota Special Education teaching license required
• Background in working with students in elementary, middle, or high school
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and student-centered teaching strategies
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, patient, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
• Previous experience in a school-based special education setting is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to ensure accessibility for diverse learners
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Engage families and caregivers as partners in the educational process
• Track and report student progress, making adjustments to goals and strategies as appropriate
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
