Business Development Manager - Unmanned Systems (UAS) & Autonomy

THE OPPORTUNITY The company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its UAS flight control, autopilot, guidance, navigation, and autonomy portfolio. This role focuses on shaping opportunities, building strategic relationships, and transitioning innovative technologies into funded programs and scalable products. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Drive strategic growth across autonomy and flight control products. Lead capture strategy, teaming, and opportunity shaping efforts. Build relationships with DoD program offices, primes, integrators, and UAS manufacturers. Develop commercialization, licensing, and recurring revenue opportunities. Transition SBIR technologies into Phase III, OTA, IDIQ, BOA, sole-source, and FAR-based contracts. Partner with engineering leadership to align customer needs with product roadmaps. WHAT YOU BRING 3+ years of business development, capture, or growth experience in UAS, aerospace, defense, or autonomy. Existing government relationships and acquisition knowledge. Experience transitioning technologies into funded programs. SBIR I & II and beyond. Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills.
