Collections Representative

Overview: Handling escalated accounts where both d/p and/or monthly mortgage are delinquent and to bring those accounts to a current or good status. Responsibilities: Include the following, and other duties may be assigned. Contact delinquent owners. Make financial arrangements to bring the delinquent accounts to a current or good status. Maintain a tracking log for performance verification Work with dialer system for outbound calling as well as inbound calls. Collections Experience Self-Motivated Competitive Professionalism Ability to Multi Task Positive Goal Oriented Organized Reliable Team Player Flexible with Hours Education And/Or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentage, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
