Premium Services Manager

Job Description

The Premium Services & Catering Manager is a leadership position responsible for all aspects of premium seating solutions, special events, and catering at Boston University's Agganis Arena. This person leads game day operations for suites and premium services, while also managing off day catering for both university and non university clients.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and complete premium seating and premium dining solutions to meet customers' needs
• Manage and execute off day catering operations, including both university and non university client events
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport across game day and non game day business
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
• Train and lead premium services employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed, ensuring quality in final presentation
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance that all requests are met prior to event
• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets across both game day and off day catering operations
• Responsible for execution of arena events of varied size and scope, including staffing and management
• Ensure accurate reporting of all premium services related revenue, expenses, and receivables
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, premium services, and catering preferred
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Available to work event based hours
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
