Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our daily operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting while also assisting with front desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Support:

• Assist with data entry for AP, AR, procurement and inventory management
• Daily invoicing, basic financial transactions, and assist with monthly reporting
• Maintain and organize financial records and files
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed

Reception & Administrative Duties:

• Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
• Order office supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
