Looking for a position that makes you smile?We’re seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our growing team.Responsible for administering team member benefits and leaves, maintaining benefits enrollment data and for providing team member support on questions related to benefits, retirement plan, and leaves of absence.How you’ll make us better:Responds to team member inquiries related to their benefits enrollments and leaves of absenceMaintains leaves of absence tracking file and escalate issues as neededResponds to 401(k) retirement plan inquiries related to enrollment and contribution changesMaintains HRIS benefits module and all benefit vendors data file feedsAssists with open enrollment planning and executionAssists with the administration of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other benefit programsGenerates reports concerning benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, and leaves of absence activitiesOversees HSA funding file and discrepancies during auditing processParticipates in the preparation of the annual enrollment processStays abreast of changes in existing laws, rules, regulations, and best practices applicable to benefits and HRISYour special skills:Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkersAbility to communicate with team members and vendors simultaneously using multiple applicationsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to listen and understand information verbally and in writingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesPrerequisites for success:High school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s Degree preferred.Minimum two (2) years of benefits experience including system administration requiredIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills and Outlook) required including advanced skills with V-lookup and pivot tablesWe saved the best for last.In exchange for the dynamic contribution you’ll bring to our team, we offer:Competitive salaryMedical, dental, vision and life insuranceShort and long-term disability coverage401(k) plan3 weeks paid time off in your first year + paid holidaysDiscounts on braces and clear aligners for you and your family membersWhy Smile Doctors?As the nation’s leading Orthodontic Support Organization, Smile Doctors is shaping the future of orthodontics through strategic partnerships with top local doctors.
