Work Environment

The position is situated within a dynamic rehabilitation facility that fosters a supportive atmosphere. Our facility is designed to facilitate optimal rehabilitation processes, equipped with advanced therapy modalities and resources. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts typically from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physical therapy aides, administrative staff, and supervising therapists to create and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and overall health status to establish a baseline and track progress effectively.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, including exercises, techniques, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
• Lead educational in-services and presentations to staff and caregivers, enhancing their understanding of physical therapy services and enabling them to support patients.
• Accurately document patient sessions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring quality record-keeping for both clinical and billing purposes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care plan meetings by providing insights related to patient progress and therapy goals to optimize cross-departmental collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Flagstar Arthroscopic Rehabilitation LLC, you will provide rehabilitation services to a diverse demographic of patients, including seniors, post-operative individuals, and others requiring assistance with mobility and daily activities. Your work will directly contribute to improving their quality of life and enhancing their independence.

Qualifications

• A valid PT license in good standing with the state's regulatory board is required.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, alongside a commitment to ongoing education in the field.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance are mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar rehabilitation setting is desired, but not strictly required.
• A background in utilizing therapy management software and electronic health record systems will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
