Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs and healthcare objectives.
• Evaluate clients through comprehensive assessments, utilizing diagnostic tests and functional measures to establish baselines and track progress.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants in executing treatment modalities, ensuring compliance with care plans and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct clinical education sessions for patients and their families, instructing them on therapeutic options and exercises tailored to enhance recovery.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities like traction and massage, fostering patient engagement and motivation.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team during case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating on patient care strategies to optimize overall outcomes.
• Document all clinical interactions thoroughly, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, maintaining compliance with COP regulations.
• Conduct home environment evaluations and offer recommendations to enhance client independence and safety.
• Participate in the continuous development and refinement of care plans based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Ensure timely submission of all clinical documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Motion Menders Therapy, you will work primarily with adult and geriatric patients in need of rehabilitation services. Your responsibilities encompass treating patients recovering from various conditions—including post-surgical recovery, acute injuries, and long-term chronic challenges. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
• Proven ability to create and maintain a positive and engaging environment for patients and their families.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
