Machine Operator/Process TechThe Machine Operator/Process Tech plays a key role in producing specialty chemical products by operating mixers, dryers, coaters, and related industrial equipment. This individual ensures that batches are produced accurately, safely, and consistently according to customer and internal specifications.This is a temp-to-hire role offering stability, growth potential, and consistent weekly hours.2nd shift:Shift: Monday – FridayHours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMPay: $19/hourKey Responsibilities - Production & Machine OperationOperate mixers, dryers, coaters, and other processing equipment to manufacture oilfield chemical products.Measure, load, and verify correct chemical weights according to batch requirements.Monitor machine temperatures and processing conditions to ensure safe and efficient operation.Maintain correct heating and cooling cycles during and after production runs.Quality & DocumentationFollow formula cards to ensure proper mixture ratios.Validate accuracy of completed batch reports.Read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals involved.Safety & MaintenanceWear required PPE at all times, including a respirator (clean-shaven requirement).Maintain clean, organized work areas free of debris.Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of machines to keep them in good working condition.Required Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Ability to read and interpret MSDS/safety documentation.Competence in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, and accurate measurement reading.Ability to calibrate scales and measure materials precisely.Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Strong reliability and dependability—consistent attendance is essential.Must be willing to be clean shaven to properly use a respirator.Ideal Candidate ProfileA strong fit for this role is someone who:Enjoys hands-on industrial or manufacturing work.Pays close attention to detail and quality control.Prioritizes safety and understands chemical handling protocols.Is comfortable working independently on a night shift.Has previous experience in machine operation, chemical mixing, or production environments (not required, but helpful).Territories Served: Mesquite, East Dallas, Sunnyvale, Seagoville, Wilmer/Hutchins
