This role provides the flexibility of working remotely while being a part of a community health clinic dedicated to serving the needs of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and surrounding areas. The work schedule is customizable with options for 4x10 or traditional 5x8 shifts, allowing you to manage your professional and personal commitments effectively. Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed clinical social worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive mental health services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, group, couple, and family psychotherapy tailored to meet the diverse needs of your clients.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive interviews to gather and analyze social, personal, environmental, and health-related information relevant to clients’ situations.
\n
• Assessing, evaluating, and treating clients with varying psychological conditions while working within your scope of practice.
\n
• Designing and coordinating programs that address clients' emotional and social needs, ensuring all services are integrated and accessible.
\n
• Facilitating cognitive, affective, and behavioral health discussions, making necessary referrals to community resources for additional support.
\n
• Building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships founded on mutual respect, trust, and acceptance.
\n
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment interventions and making adjustments as required.
\n
• Documenting all client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with established protocols to maintain accurate client records.
\n
• Maintaining a manageable caseload and ensuring all case documentation is current and reflects the services provided.
\n
• Engaging in additional responsibilities as assigned to support program goals and client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will consist of individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, grief, and family conflict. You will be pivotal in empowering clients to achieve their wellness goals and navigate complex emotional challenges within supportive frameworks.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Florida.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health or a closely related area is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated expertise in counseling individuals experiencing behavioral and mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, substance abuse, family dynamics, grief management, and mood disorders.

• Proficiency in using clinical tools for assessment and treatment planning.
\n
