Paramedic

Position Overview CORE is a nationwide occupational medicine platform that serves multiple Fortune 500 companies and other industry leaders. We are looking for an experienced Paramedic for a temporary position in the Waynesboro, GA area. Position Responsibilities Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly. Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients in accordance with federal, state, local, and company policy and regulations. Assess the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures. Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action. Communicate with client and site personnel regarding worksite incidents, hazards, etc. Demonstrate a strong orientation toward teamwork and the ability to understand the importance of coordinated efforts. Maintain awareness of constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards. Practice quality clinical standards at all times. Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely. Conduct oneself in a helpful, dignified, and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances. Assist Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Position Qualifications Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; proof of reciprocity required. Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience, or emergency 911 experience preferred. Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus.
