Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher working with third to sixth graders in a supportive school environment. This onsite, contract opportunity focuses on delivering individualized instruction and fostering growth for a small caseload of 10-12 students in a dedicated resource classroom. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and families to build a positive and inclusive learning experience from now through late May 2027.

Qualifications:

• Valid SPED certification for grades K-6
• Previous experience working with students in special education preferred
• Skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally

Responsibilities:

• Provide resource support and targeted instruction to third through sixth grade students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and adapt lesson plans in alignment with IEPs and educational goals
• Track and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
