With offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong, PricingDirect employees serve our clients globally by providing evaluated pricing and analytics on over 3 million fixed income securities and derivative instruments each day.As a Securities Valuation Analyst in our Municipal Bond team, you will gain access to the trading, research, analytics, and technology resources of JPMorgan Chase, and combine financial concepts with quantitative skills to manage large volumes of data to develop pricing models and processes. You will leverage your product and market knowledge to identify growth areas and help lead projects in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact the business.Job ResponsibilitiesDaily generation of securities valuations for multiple market closes, entailing start-to-end ownership responsibilities (market data collection and analysis, price generation, quality control, and client interaction)Examine and develop new areas of product growth through independent self-guided research and interactions with clients, JPMorgan trading desks, research professionals, and technology teamsContinuously improve product and service quality through daily market surveillance, communication with market participants, data/financial analysis, enhanced process controls, and ensuring data qualityPerform in-depth analysis on an individual security or portfolio of securities and explain nuances to colleagues and clientsDevelop and maintain sophisticated statistical modelsDevelop cutting-edge methodologies and manage infrastructure to increase efficiency and speed of valuationsAddress client concerns daily with emphasis on providing first-class service and quality (email, calls, and in-person meetings)Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsMaster's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or similarFirm understanding of principles of finance, mathematical and/or statistical modeling, fixed income, and data sciencePrevious experience working in fixed income, primarily Municipal BondsClear, logical thinker with strong quantitative skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment with real-time market deadlinesKnowledge or proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and/or practical experience working with ExcelStrong aptitude for learning and applying new technologiesExcellent communication skills to interact with clients, portfolio managers, traders, research, and salesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsDetail-oriented, creative problem solver with ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and self-manage prioritiesAbility to build effective working relationships and interact comfortably with a wide spectrum of traders, research analysts, clients, and technologists JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
