CNC MachinistWe are seeking skilled CNC Machinists / Swiss Machinists who are great at problem solving to join an innovative manufacturing team in a dynamic, emerging industry that requires high-precision parts. You will be part of a team, responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components that meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining optimal production efficiency and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining processes and requirementsProgram CNC machines using G-code and relevant software, ensuring precision and quality in each component producedSet up and calibrate CNC machinery, including adjusting tooling and fixtures to achieve desired tolerancesMonitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise, implementing corrective measures to maintain production flowConduct routine maintenance and inspections on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevityCollaborate with engineering teams to refine processes and improve overall manufacturing efficiencyRequired and Preferred QualificationsRequired:5+ years of experience as a CNC/Swiss Machinist with a proven track record in precision machiningProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsStrong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine operationExperience with various types of CNC machines, including lathes and millsPreferred:Certification in CNC/Swiss machining or a related fieldExperience with CAD/CAM softwareKnowledge of quality control and inspection techniquesTechnical Skills and Relevant TechnologiesProficient in operating CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipmentFamiliarity with CAD software for designing and modifying machining programsExperience with precision measurement tools, such as calipers and micrometersSoft Skills and Cultural FitStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityFlexible approach to work as the need to adjust and improve processes will be ongoingEffective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills for remote collaboration and team engagementA proactive approach to identifying areas for process improvement
