Senior Acquisition Program Specialist

Position Summary Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Specialist supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Agile Weapons Division (AFLCMC/EBX) at Eglin AFB, Florida. This position supports program and financial managers with DoD planning, programming, and budgeting activities in support of the USAF weapons acquisition process. Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to:Provide Configuration and CDRL Data ManagementCoordinating with program management, systems engineers, and other stakeholders in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment to maintain alignment between technical and contractual obligationsDeliver broad reach‑back support across functional disciplines for AFPEO/EB portfolio programsProduce high‑volume program products quickly to meet short‑notice direction when internal resources are limitedAssist in creating briefings, and staffing materialsMaintain requirements traceability and generate reports/analyses to update CDDs and CPDs for senior decision makersEnable rapid, integrated response to MAJCOM changes and inputsSupport government activities in acquisition program management, configuration management, enterprise integration, developmental planning, and draft contract source selectionProvide advisory support for rapid response/delivery, program communication and reporting, schedule execution, risk management, contract management, and technical data management Qualifications Minimum QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US CitizenClearance: Current Top Secret clearanceEducation and experience: Associate’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience providing acquisition program support within DoD programs.Familiarity with FAR, DoD 5000.2, and related regulations and guidesAdditionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:Technical Skills• Ability to produce rapid-turn program artifacts in response to short-notice direction• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) for workflow and program tracking• Familiarity with acquisition frameworks (DoDI 5000-series, FAR/DFARS) and source selection documentation supportInterpersonal Skills• Strong communication skills, including executive-level briefings and cross-functional coordination• Ability to collaborate across diverse functional areas (engineering, logistics, test, finance) to support integrated program execution• Skilled at providing clear analysis, recommendations, and decision-support products to senior leadership• High attention to detail, quality, and completeness in documentation under accelerated timelines• Ability to operate independently and manage workload surges effectively in fast-paced acquisition environments• Experience mentoring junior staff and enabling cross-functional reach-back support• Strong relationship-building skills with government stakeholders, contractors, and multidisciplinary IPTsAdditional InformationLocation: Eglin AFB, FLTravel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.Work Environment: Onsite9/80 work schedule option may be available#LI-MB1 Company Overview Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
