About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving new business growth, with a focus on proactively sourcing and developing client relationships, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and families. This role also involves generating and scheduling meetings with prospective clients through various channels, as well as building and maintaining relationships with external partners. The VP, Business Development will work closely with the leadership team to expand the company's presence in the community and will be expected to maintain an active pipeline of business development opportunities. Applicants for the VP, Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for those progressing towards a CFP and/or CFA. A minimum of 5 years' experience in serving high-net-worth clients within a wealth management or financial planning environment is required, along with a proven track record in business development and client relationship management. The role demands strong networking and interpersonal communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for wealth management, investments, and client service. The candidate should be able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player, and be prepared to learn and support the client servicing side of the business.
