Work Environment\n

This role is primarily conducted through a telehealth platform, facilitating remote interactions with patients. While the majority of services provided can be delivered from home, occasional in-person meetings may be necessary for team collaboration and training purposes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings via telehealth to evaluate the needs of patients and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Provide effective individual counseling and crisis intervention services, utilizing evidence-based practices that resonate with the specific challenges faced by each patient.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and wellness workshops focusing on critical topics such as coping strategies, resilience, and stress management.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, which includes physicians, nurses, and support staff, to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes for patients.

• Participate in outreach and educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health, promoting wellness, and destigmatizing mental health issues in the community.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in alignment with compliance standards, ensuring responsiveness to ethical guidelines in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. You will address the unique concerns of diverse populations, ensuring culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges individual backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields being strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and collaborate effectively across a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and administrative tasks within a virtual environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly with telehealth modalities, is advantageous. Familiarity with the specific needs and challenges faced by individuals within a hospital or acute care environment is especially beneficial.
