Welder/ Spot Welder Min. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic knowledge of spot-welding processes. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Willingness to learn, take direction and adapt to new tasks. Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines. Experience Req: Previous On-The-Job Department Training. Will Train. Job Duties: Operate spot welding machines following standard operating procedures Load and unload materials onto the welding machine Perform basic setup and adjustment of welding equipment Monitor the quality of spot welds and make necessary adjustments Prepare and clean workpieces before welding Assist in the assembly of sheet metal parts and components Inspect finished products for defects and report any issues to the Supervisor Maintain a clean and organized area Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor Collaborate with team members to meet production targets Other duties as assigned $20.00-24.00/hr DOE 6:00am-2:30pm Glendale Heights, IL 60139 Please send resumes to View email address on click.appcast.io All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
