CareNow Austin is seeking Urgent Care APPs who are board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds and hold an active Texas license and Texas DEA. Qualified providers should have at least 3 years of Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience, with Workers Compensation experience preferred. DOT certification is a plus, and providers must be comfortable treating pediatric patients 3 months of age and older. This opportunity is ideal for experienced providers looking for flexible urgent care coverage in the Austin market.

Austin, Texas offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may enjoy paddleboarding and kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, hiking the Barton Creek Greenbelt, and walking the 10-mile trail around the lake. Day trips to nearby natural landmarks such as Enchanted Rock and Hamilton Pool are also available, and the city features attractions including the Austin Zoo, local cave systems such as Inner Space Cavern, and a lively arts and live music scene throughout.

For the Austin market, CareNow offers flexible scheduling with 7-, 8-, 12-, and 15-hour shifts available seven days a week. The current need is in the South Austin region, covering clinics in North Kyle, Manor, Lockhart, North Austin, and Southpark Meadows. Providers must be available to work both weekday and weekend shifts and are expected to float between and provide coverage at all locations within the region as needed. The EMR system used is Practice Velocity.
