About the Position
Our client is seeking a skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment in Texas, starting Oct 15, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care services to patients across various shifts, focusing on acute illness and injury management within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory work
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing and splinting
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care
