This position is 100% remote, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The role is structured with a Monday to Friday schedule, giving you weekends and evenings free. Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy: Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences and support one another in a structured setting. You will foster an environment of trust and connection using evidence-based group techniques.

• Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Use empathy and active listening to assist clients in exploring their emotions and developing effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to devise individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that are constantly evaluated and adjusted based on progress and feedback.

• Progress Monitoring: Use a variety of assessment tools to track client outcomes. Regularly check in with clients to fine-tune their treatment journey and measure the effectiveness of interventions implemented.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and address any complex cases that arise. Effective communication is key to enhancing client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Understanding that each client comes with a unique background and set of experiences, you will employ a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on building rapport and trust to facilitate healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license to practice in Connecticut is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients facing mood disorders, in either residential or outpatient settings.
