Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly evidence-based therapy sessions via live video, treating adult clients presenting with a range of emotional and psychological disorders.

• Facilitate discussions with clients, employing targeted questions that help them articulate their feelings and behaviors, and to assist in the identification of coping strategies.

• Utilize self-assessment tools to gauge client symptoms, monitor treatment progress, and make informed adjustments to individualized care plans based on ongoing data and client feedback.

• Effectively leverage the telemedicine platform for patient visits, ensuring adherence to privacy laws and confidentiality regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with adult clients struggling with various emotional disturbances, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain management, and end-of-life planning. An essential part of this role is to provide empathetic, culturally competent care tailored to the specific needs of each client. You will work with clients navigating significant life transitions and managing mental health challenges, using your skills to empower and support them in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current and active LPCC license issued by the State of California.
