This role is conducted primarily in a remote outpatient office environment. While you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule, we encourage participation in our collaborative clinical community. Our supportive infrastructure includes streamlined Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms, and robust administrative support to ensure that you can focus primarily on your clients rather than paperwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide culturally-responsive psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups, addressing their specific mental health needs.

• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client sessions and treatment interventions through our EHR.
\n
• Develop and implement collaborative treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches.

• Engage actively in team meetings, peer consultations, and ongoing clinical training sessions to enhance your skills and share best practices.

• Contribute creatively to the development of new programs and initiatives aimed at enriching the overall care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will be as diverse as the community we serve, including individuals of all ages—adults, teens, and children—who are facing an array of mental health challenges. You will work both one-on-one and in group settings, providing tailored support to help clients navigate their personal struggles and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and active LPCC license in the state of California.
\n
• Completion of a Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field from an accredited program.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience or substantial pre-licensed experience with specialized populations.
\n
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnostics, ethical standards, and clinical documentation practices.
\n
• Adeptness at working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing services to marginalized communities, particularly BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients, is highly desirable.

• Specialized training in modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, substance use counseling, or crisis intervention will be considered an asset.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
