Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and nurturing professional relationships, ensuring ethical boundaries are upheld.

• Conduct routine meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss treatment effectiveness, and plan for future appointments and discharges as appropriate.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs, continuously monitoring and adjusting as needed.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, consistent with best practices and legal requirements.

• Perform initial intake assessments to determine client needs and recommend suitable treatment paths.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's distinct circumstances.

• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance professional development and refine counseling approach.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is geared towards working with youth clients who are facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, as well as those in need of support for substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
