Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, developing positive therapeutic relationships rooted in trust and professional ethics.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, schedule upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge planning when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on client-centered approaches to care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.

• Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to understand client history and current mental health needs.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, providing a consistent space for clients to engage in their growth journey each week.

• Engage in individual supervision to foster professional growth and accountability.
\n
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This Position will primarily focus on youth populations, delivering vital mental health services to adolescents dealing with various issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Understanding this clientele's developmental stage is critical in tailoring effective interventions that resonate with their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
\n
• Demonstrated capability to meet the internal credentialing requirements for relevant clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year’s experience working with psychiatric patients or in substance abuse treatment settings.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments and providing individual and group therapy.
