Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and detailed evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across multiple formats including individual, couples, family, and group sessions.

• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to cater to the diverse needs of clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with research and advancements in mental health, attending workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California is essential.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, particularly in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relevant to counseling practice.
