Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine each client’s unique treatment needs and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies based on evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, as well as provide family and couples therapy to nurture healthy relationships and support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring ethical practice standards are met.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to address the holistic needs of clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and staying current with mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance misuse. Understanding the societal factors that influence our clients’ experiences is crucial for effective therapy delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of three years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desired.

• Experience in providing telehealth services and adapting therapeutic modalities for remote delivery is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
