Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in our outpatient services, with a primary focus on providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients with compassion and professionalism, building strong therapeutic relationships that foster trust and progress.

• Conducting regular check-ins with clients to review their mental health journey, assess stability, and plan for upcoming sessions or discharge, when appropriate.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize client needs and goals, utilizing a person-centered approach.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries for each client, to ensure continuity of care.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to determine the appropriate treatment paths and identifying urgent needs.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions consistently each week, utilizing various therapeutic modalities as suited to the client’s needs.

• Engaging in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback to improve therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and enrich the client’s support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on a diverse youth population, addressing a range of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements pertinent to clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or those experiencing substance abuse challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
