Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, strengths, and treatment goals to develop tailored therapy plans that promote positive outcomes.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, families, and groups.

• Document all client interactions and progress thoroughly and accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in providing support to individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health care, ensuring they receive the guidance and treatment necessary for their emotional growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a commitment to client care and professional growth.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n
