Work Environment

You will work onsite in our modern outpatient office where a collaborative and patient-centric atmosphere reigns. The typical work week spans Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with another physical therapist and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a dynamic setting focused on delivering personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their unique objectives and therapeutic needs.
• Manage a caseload efficiently by seeing one patient per hour, ensuring quality over quantity in treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities.
• Provide cost-effective interventions that enhance patients' mobility and reduce reliance on medications or invasive procedures.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, encouraging them to achieve their maximum functional potential.
• Monitor treatment outcomes by evaluating patient progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and treatments provided in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Promote patient education regarding healthy lifestyle choices to support long-term well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or conditions that affect their mobility and physical functionality. You will work closely with individuals seeking rehabilitation post-surgery, as well as those looking to improve their strength and reduce pain associated with chronic conditions. Understanding the unique needs and challenges of this population will be key to delivering optimal care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid license as a Physical Therapist in California with no prior board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and hands-on care approaches is essential.
• Experience in developing and conducting exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Practical knowledge of therapeutic modalities and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice will be advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing several patients and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
