Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement and modify therapeutic interventions, including both active and passive exercises, to facilitate recovery and improve functional mobility.
• Guide patients in activities of daily living, muscle re-education, gait training, and prosthetic training to enhance their independence.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, exercise regimens, and self-management techniques to promote understanding and adherence.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a unified approach to patient care and consistently evaluate treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your new role, you will focus primarily on outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals rehabilitating from surgeries or chronic conditions. You will be tasked with addressing diverse patient needs, ensuring tailored treatment approaches that empower each individual on their path to recovery. Our patient-centric philosophy emphasizes communication and support, fostering strong relationships that promote better clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or its foreign equivalent.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits
