Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite at our outpatient office. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent and stable work-life balance. Our team currently consists of two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters professional growth and encourages sharing of best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and objectives.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that encompass a broad spectrum of treatment modalities.
• Deliver therapy services with a focus on client mobility, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Manage a caseload with a careful balance of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated time for each individual.
• Encourage patients by providing personalized motivation and support throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, adjust care plans as necessary, and document all patient interactions and progress notes efficiently using EMR software.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in health promotion activities that foster improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or chronic pain conditions. With a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices, we aim to provide effective treatments that minimize reliance on medications or invasive procedures, thereby enhancing our patients' movement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in California, holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Committed to maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, with a preference for experience in WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable to ensure familiarity with common treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing customized exercise regimens for rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement savings contributions, and paid time off.
