Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' needs, tailoring personalized treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that provide a platform for clients to share experiences, foster community, and explore coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering support and guidance to those in acute distress.

• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge of treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations and professional development activities to further enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is mandatory; however, a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is highly preferred.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.

• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, as well as collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
