Work Environment\n

As a remote position, our therapists enjoy the balance of working from home while engaging in meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients. The role allows for a flexible schedule, with the primary hours being Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, cultivating coping strategies, and promoting their overall mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care focused on patient needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them on their healing journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and other distressing life events. Our goal is to help these patients navigate their recovery journeys, providing them with the tools and support they need to heal and thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
