Seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead a 70-bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital pharmacy in the San Diego area. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to oversee pharmacy operations and serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at the facility. The position supports a dynamic healthcare environment with an emphasis on quality care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive oversight and leadership of pharmacy services.
- Act as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) ensuring adherence to all state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication management.
- Manage operational efficiency and staff performance.
- Utilize RX Connect IT system for pharmacy management.
Qualifications:
- Active California pharmacist license.
- Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy within California healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of California pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to start immediately and commit to at least 13 weeks.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, daytime shifts.
