• Draw blood samples from patients accurately and efficiently, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures and practices.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.
• Ensure a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
• Perform specimen processing duties as required, adhering to safety standards and process excellence principles.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to quality and confidentiality in all tasks.
• Handle daily activities independently with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion of assigned duties.

Required Skills

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in keyboard/data entry for documentation purposes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in phlebotomy required; more than one year preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, based on staffing needs.
