Trauma Sales Representative- Boston, MA

Schedule & On-Call Requirements Work Flexibility: Field-based. This position requires an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise. While this level of availability is essential for the role, we understand it may not be suitable for every candidate. Candidates who choose not to pursue this position due to the on-call demands will not be negatively evaluated or penalized in future opportunities with our organization. Responsibilities As a Trauma Sales Representative, you will sell Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include: Become the resident trauma expert in your territory. Manage and maintain inventory of products. Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives. Operate or consult in operating/emergency rooms, organizing materials and solutions quickly. Build credibility with surgeons by demonstrating knowledge of competitors’ offerings. Assist customers whenever the need arises. Live out your mission to change lives by selling Stryker products that make healthcare better. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination). 3+ years of sales experience preferred. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office suite, databases, etc. Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in your area. Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments. Will attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required. Adherence to compliance and principles of responsibility (AdvaMed), maintaining privacy and confidentiality, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non‑compliance, and following applicable laws, regulations, accreditation and license requirements, and Company policies and procedures. Travel expectations may apply, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of the time at customer facilities with a defined territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Onsite – The role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
