INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE - YEARBOOK FIELD-BASED POSITION | BOSTON, MA TERRITORY | TRAVEL UP TO 70% Be your own CEO! ABOUT YOU: As a Jostens Independent Sales Representative (1099), you are highly motivated and interested in building your own business. Relevant and proven sales and/or sales management experience (consultative, educational, B2C). Highly Disciplined & Self-Motivated. Demonstrated success developing new business and maintaining customer relationships through great customer focus. Technical Skills. Strong business and financial acumen. Great Communication Skills. You enjoy acting as a true business partner and communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers. Flexibility. Regional/territory and national travel required (percentage varies dependent on territory location and demographics). Experience. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of related experience. Education. You have a 4-year degree (preferred not required). YOU WILL: Growth. Gain market share through customer and prospect development. Develop. Build and maintain customer relationships and work effectively with school administrations, organizations and their advisors, teachers, and students. Advise. School administration on products and services offered by Jostens. Compliance. Comply with all applicable laws associated with the services performed for Jostens. Maintain. Maintain an independent business office. Operations. Responsible for all business expenses, including but not limited to travel to facilitate sale. Team Development. Hiring, retaining, and compensating an office and sales staff as needed. Integrity.
