About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Development for Heavy Civil Construction. This pivotal role is dedicated to leading growth initiatives and is ideal for a professional with a strong background in business development, particularly within the heavy civil construction, site development, or related markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strategic relationships with a diverse range of clients, including general contractors, developers, municipal agencies, and industrial clients. The role is highly autonomous, with a focus on sales and relationship development, and the candidate will be expected to have a proven track record of success in both the public and private construction sectors. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have significant experience in client development or sales leadership within the heavy civil construction industry. A strong network of relationships and the ability to operate independently to drive results are essential. The role requires a professional who can represent the company at various industry events and who is adept at coordinating with stakeholders to gain visibility into project opportunities.
