As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist customers and team members with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment through Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, fuel dispensing areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and exterior areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
