Step into a pivotal contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting PreK–12th grade students during a medical leave coverage. This in-person position is conveniently situated near Jersey City, NJ, and offers a dynamic role at the heart of a dedicated school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• New Jersey Department of Education certification
• Direct school-based SLP experience across PreK–12 grade levels
• Comfort managing a caseload of approximately 40 students, including supporting nonverbal students
• Preferred background working with low-tech AAC devices
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for effective collaboration and communication

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group therapy to a diverse student caseload, adapting to varying communication needs
• Implement and track progress on IEP goals for students requiring speech and language services
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and family members to optimize student outcomes
• Document therapy sessions, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
• Utilize AAC tools and approaches for nonverbal students to foster participation and independence
• Option to shadow the current SLP before the official start date for a seamless transition

This contract begins on October 1, 2026, and is expected to run through November 20, 2026, with the possibility of extension through the end of the semester. Scheduling is flexible and will be finalized during placement discussions.
