Work Environment

This full-time position allows physical therapists to work directly in patients' homes, creating a unique setting that fosters personal connections and individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients, ensuring communication with both the physician and patient care team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to gather essential information, participating in the formulation and implementation of tailored care plans aimed at achieving specific patient goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in patients' homes, employing effective techniques to foster positive changes in condition and functionality, as per the physician's directive.
• Educate and guide patients, families, and caregivers in the implementation of therapy exercises and the use of therapeutic devices outside of therapy sessions.
• Manage your caseload effectively, determining daily staffing needs and coordinating assignments to streamline continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic illnesses, or requiring rehabilitative care following injuries. This may include both adults and children. Your work will be crucial in supporting varying therapeutic needs, with an emphasis on tailoring care plans uniquely to each patient, which significantly improves their recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
• While a minimum of 2 years of professional experience is preferred, candidates with a strong commitment to patient care and newly graduated professionals are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health or outpatient physical therapy is ideal, but not requisite.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with both patients and their families regarding treatment expectations and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, and is complemented by a robust benefits package.
