Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate paths for treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Engage patients in the therapeutic process, helping them to process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to maintain an integrated approach to patient care across the treatment continuum.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for further support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patient population will primarily consist of trauma survivors, including individuals exhibiting symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will utilize your skills to create tailored treatment plans that address their unique histories and psychological needs, contributing directly to their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• An ability to maintain composure under pressure and navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and essential computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
