This role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work setting while maintaining a collaborative atmosphere with teammates. Our team engages in regular virtual meetings and case consultations to ensure cohesive patient care. Although the majority of therapy sessions can be conducted remotely, you will also have opportunities to participate in community outreach programs and workshops held at our outpatient office in Yakima, WA.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and strengths, leading to individualized treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, in sessions with individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups addressing various topics, such as coping mechanisms, stress management, and peer support.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health conditions and actively share resources that can promote recovery and well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development sessions, and case reviews to enhance service delivery and team cohesion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse patient population encompasses individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will work with clients dealing with emotional distress, relationship difficulties, trauma, and other psychological issues. It is crucial to approach each client with empathy and cultural competence, tailoring your therapeutic techniques to best fit their individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of Washington is required.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential.

• Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop effective and engaging treatment plans.

• Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, including differing ages, cultures, and communities.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills are imperative for building rapport with clients.

• Sound judgment, professional ethics, and the ability to maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries are crucial.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related therapeutic software is necessary.
