Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm 32 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare month-end financial reports and documentation
- Assist with budgeting and financial tracking as needed
- Maintain organized and compliant financial records
- Support audits and provide financial information when requested
- Ensure adherence to nonprofit/church accounting best practices
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with nonprofit or church accounting
- Hands-on experience using Aplos accounting software
- Understanding of fund accounting principles
Applicant requirements:
- Must have a clean background.
- Must have a clean drug screen.
- Must be experienced with google docs and excel.
- Must have great organizational skills.
- Must have previous clerical experience.
