Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology-while adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and ensure optimal performance of laboratory equipment through maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document all lab procedures meticulously, mentor new staff members or students, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab environment.
• Ensure a clean and safe working atmosphere while complying with regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your time in this role.
