Work Environment

This position is primarily an onsite role within the Home Care setting, where you will have the chance to provide direct care to patients in the comfort of their homes. With regular, structured work hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, we support a work-life balance that allows our staff to thrive both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific orthopedic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based manual techniques and therapeutic exercises aiming to restore mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance patients' overall functional abilities.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies, including therapeutic exercises and injury prevention techniques, fostering independence and empowerment.
• Document patient progress and treatment interventions meticulously in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards to reflect ongoing improvements and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your hands-on interventions and personalized treatment plans will directly impact their recovery journey, facilitating significant improvements in their mobility and overall functionality.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy License is required to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally within outpatient or orthopedic settings, is essential to effectively address the diverse needs of our patient base.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for health professionals to ensure lifelong learning and competency.
